2009年的最后一天，想想还是写点什么吧。
一度心痛到想马上飞到另一片大陆，永远不再回来。
于是来到寄托，认识了很多很多人，定下一个很变态的schedule。
感谢父母耐心的开导；感谢朋友的不离不弃。
不知道这是不是一个幸福的开始，不管怎么样，我愿意试试。

它分狭义和广义两种。狭义的word derivation主要指的是大学英语教材以及练习册里的单词变形题。一般是题干中留一个空，然后句末给出需要变形的单词，以形容词和副词、形容词和名词、形容词和动词以及名词和动词之间的相互转换为主，难度不是很大。首先判断出空格处应填单词的词性，然后根据掌握的词根、词缀的相关知识将给出的单词适当变形，填进去就可以了。

而广义的word derivation呢，可以指在写作中灵活运用所学单词的能力。这就需要对重点单词衍生出的形容词、动词、名词、副词以及形近词有相当的了解。适当地做一些狭义的word derivation题目，对了解单词的各种变形是有好处的。想要更精确地掌握单词的用法，应该多查好的ESL词典，并在阅读中悉心比较同义词之间的细微差异；从根本上说，还是应该用英英词典，以便在思考和语言间建立直接联系。
