As Elbert Einstein said "Interest is the best teacher" there is no doubt that education which designed specifically for students' interests will benefit students the most and intrigue them to study more initiatively. However, it is neither proper nor possible for educators to design (a) specific education system which take into account every student's personal interests(interest).
Undeniably, an education system that can consider the specific needsand interests of each student will help the students to fully develop their distinct potential and talent(这句话里又有each student 也有 students, their, 显得有点混乱). Because different students posses(possess) different personalities and fortes, one may does a good job in a certain area while can not catch up with others in the other area.(这应该是另一句话了吧,因为主语不一样了) Therefore, building a
(an) education system which can focus on each student's specialty will certainly dig out every student's potential. Meanwhile, students, feeling centered and appreciated, will be more motivated to study. In that case student's interests should be taken into account as one of the important factors in designing the education system.
However, such education system can only be (感觉这里用情态动词不太好) a fantastic imagination. It is unrealistic to meet every student's need and interests. Considering the huge amount of students in school, hundreds of students (amount of students 和hundreds of students 重复,显得很罗嗦)would possess hundreds of interests. So there will be unimaginable huge cost to design hundreds of different specific education (hundreds of 出现频率太高)systems for students, which, apparently, can not be practical. Besides, the major job of teacher is to take an overall control and provide the basic knowledge for general students. Despite the interests for deferent (different)individuals play an important role in education(这句话是说兴趣在教育中的重要地位,应该用plays吧?还有就是这句话感觉怪,但是不知道怎么改), such specifically pattern will result in a waste of educational resources which are limited and should be ensure to use in the most deserve way.
Besides, even if educational resources abound, specifically designed education should not take the place of traditional general education(题目中没有提到要specifically designed education should take the place of traditional general education吧?好像没有吧,而且感觉这一短话在与前文的衔接中转的很突兀). The ultimate goal of education is to enable students develop in an all-around way. Over-stated the personal interest or completely follow student’s willing to design education will result in deficiency of knowledge structure. After all, standard education is quite different from the professional training. The former is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge which ensure them meet the basic standard in the fiercely competition in their future career. Even though they are likely to involve themselves in study which designed according to their interests and needs, they have multiple choices to take second classes outside school. On the other hand, students involved in the compulsory education are under 18 years old. Children of this age are not yet mentally mature. Interests to them are just like the clothes which can be easily changed day by day. In that case, experienced and informed educators serve as the best guide to students in their learning process. The basic duty for education department is to ensure the core course in school is most beneficial to general students.
Furthermore, although complete liberty in designing education is not available to all individual students, schools can try their best to offer more choices and autonomy to students as long as the quality of compulsory education is guaranteed. For example, for students who are interested in history, school can establish some elective classes which design to further the study in history area. In this way, it can not only satisfy the need of different interests but also make a balance between integrated development and advancement in professional area.
In sum, specifically designed education certainly does a lot of benefits to students. However, education is aim at the general student’s interests. It is impossible to meet every individual’s need in learning. Besides, the advantage in traditional general education can not be taken place by other education system. We should stick to the traditional education system while place more emphasis on student’s interests.
我觉得本题不能仅仅讨论教育是否应该关注个人需求和兴趣,而是要分析这种行为和教育是否有用之间的关系。
