We all think that children are the future of the world ,and their behavior definitely will determine the destiny of our society .The speaker ,however ,is concerned about the situation that people have not yet learned how to raise children ,which may lead to a worrisome society .In my point of view ,more and more revealed shortcomings of education shows us how to cultivate children is a considerable problem which we should pay more attention on it .

Children is a special community ,they are creative and unformed ,also carrying hopes of our future .For a long time ,people always seek to achieve a good education to mold and cultivate children ,but the result turns out to be unoptimistic ,for the status of education seem to be problematic .Take a glance at today's newspapers ,we may always find some eye-catching negative news like bullying and suicides among schoolchildren .It reminds us that we should address ourselves to the education problems as soon as possible .

One of the most serious problems may be the stereotyped teaching model .Education today just like the mould that used to mass-produce in the factory ,cultivates talents without any characters .If the children want to accommodate themselves to the multi-type society as they grow older ,they must have some specific ability .Thus reminding us that we should attend to the children's interests and preferences ,and develop their special aptitude .Maybe we have not yet be able to devote significant amounts of time and money to the individual student on education ,however ,we can introduce different types of education to help children to build their own knowledge system .

Another compelling problem , overlooking ethic construction ,which is worried by the ethicians and sociologists ,makes the potential social harm .Educators today place too much emphasis on knowledge ,thus making children lacking of moral standards .For instance ,there are more and more murders happening in the campus .People always accused educators of neglecting children's mental health and moral character ,since children with moral standards will weight things depending on morale and try their best to not harm others .There are lots of moral rules in the society ,which demands everyone to assert them .Therefore ,education should contains not only knowledge ,but also basic ethic.

Except the foregoing reasons ,there is also overrating competition making children focus on selves too much .Society is a community which stresses on cooperation but not individualistic heroism ,for children ,if they want to integrate into society ,they must have to learn to take up with others at first .Meanwhile ,overcompetition bring children about too much pressure ,which would have a negative effect on psychology .In my opinion ,indeed educators need to encourage competing ,however ,we shouldn’t lay too much stress on it .

In sum ,in the rapidly developing society ,raising children become more and more complex ,it's time for us to contribute to reform education so that helping us to bring about a better future .

The speaker contends that the destiny of society is determined by the socialized children, and moreover, that we have failed to raise them well. Admittedly, it appears convincingly reasonable to some extent, especially thinking about the notion that children are the foundation of a country and some negative news about their selfishness. Considering the enormous key facts of a better society, however, it seems an uneasily decisive issue.

I concede that well socialized children are extremely indispensable for our society. Since adults pose tremendous influence on the present society, it is exactly expected that our future society is affected by the so-called future adults--the exactly children now. Therefore, how children are socialized today deeply determines the destiny of society. Given a wide definition of socialization, the kindergarten is regarded as the first one where children learn and practice socialization. In it, only when children are informed of the importance of being friendly with others, can they really get away from bad behaviors and even anti-society acts.

We have mentioned the significance of children to a society. Generally speaking, nevertheless, there are still some other factors determining children. First and the foremost, parents, who can be considered as family education, are crucial in the growth of children. They tell children their first accent and pronunciation, teach them how to walk and run fast and safely and let them know how to be well associated with their relatives. Moreover, as the next irreplaceable one, teachers teach them scientific knowledge, lead them to the magical diversity of art, pose justice and conscientiousness in their minds. Without these and only given the socialized atmosphere, one can hardly imagine children be raised well.

Admittedly, when considering the spoiled and selfish children, it is pity for us to concede that we should have educated them better. In some over-populated countries, especially in china, family plan, which is referred to one-child policy, has been existent for a long time. It leads to a difficult dilemma that few and few children have their real brothers and sisters who share same parents. The consequence ridiculously tends to be that they become the monopoly of their parents' affection, which poses some serious problems such as being selfish and egocentric. At the same time, in other countries, the situation seems equally unpleasant. The increasing divorce rate and family violence can also greatly and permanently harm children.

Fortunately, it does not look that bad. Being selfish and egocentric, in other words, also means creativity and individualism. Children spend more time on thinking about themselves and likely accept no existing conventions this makes a surprising contribution to the diversity of culture. And because of the family plan, they know that they are lack of companion,  and they will try their best to get new friends, which results in their being well cooperated with their classmates and future colleagues.

In the final analysis, one cannot undervalue the importance of socialization. But some other factors should not be overlooked either. In spite of some failure in children education, considering the effective government measures, we can still confidently affirm that the growing children are bettering the world.

In such a globalized society, it seems that the ability to socializing with others is getting increasingly more emphasis in our education to children. However, does it necessarily mean that socialization could take control of our society’s future? Once further inspecting this claim, some flaws can be immediately found out. Besides, the author also states that the society has not been able to educate children in an effective way, in which our society can benefit most from. Based on the past few decades of human history, this claim might be too pessimistic on our magnificent advancement.
Firstly, no one can neglect the importance of socialization in our daily life. We hang out with our friends every day, talk to various person to acquire the information we need and discuss problems with professors to learn more thoroughly. All of these involve the ability to communicate effectively. Moreover, a well developed socializing skill means having a harmonious interpersonal relationship with people around you. Kids learn how to compromise when sharing toys with other children in kindergarten, students get the experience of coordinating with their teammates in group projects, political leaders canvass grass root to gain support in elections. In brief, the effect of socialization can be discovered anywhere in this society.
However, as one can easily see, the character, socialization, alone cannot steer the direction of development of our society. Many other beneficial traits are essential to the society as well, such as the spirit of innovation and perseverance.
The quality of our life has improved significantly during the 20th century. One of the reasons that had caused this vast change is the expansion of technological industry.  Numerous machines were invented to assist us for a higher efficiency in our work; high technology recreational products had offered us more choices in our spare time. All of these are totally new to our routinely perception and require a mind of originality, which would never come out of one’s mind by merely socializing. Many young people today are fascinated by the stylish products from Apple. From iTouch, iPhone to iPad, they conquer the global market once they are released because they are so different from other traditional devices. Their success made other companies to follow and consequently, there are more phones with touch screens on sale and some companies have claimed to have their brand panel computers released next year. Thus, it is obvious that innovation plays a crucial role in the development of our society.
In addition, the quality of perseverance is equally vital. Between an innovative plan and the actual product, there always lie innumerable failed attempts. Most of the time, innovations are brought forward by scientists and engineers who have focused on and dug deep into their field of study. Only being fully acquainted with the subject, can the researchers see the essence of challenges and work out solutions. In some way, this even requires the contrary manner of socialization. Staying away from crowds, scientists have to devote all their vigor and focus into the repetitive experiments.
Although people today are forced to face varied severe problems, such as global warming, wars and economic crisis, no one could doubt that it is the best era in our human history ever. The advanced technology lead us to a more convenient and carefree lifestyle. People working in different fields together pushed the society to a better position. We are taught the merit of honesty when we are young; we learned the importance of cooperation and respect in school and we further explore realms of humanity, science and social science in college.  All these experiences we have gained along the way we grown up are valuable to individuals and beneficial to the well-being of the society.
In conclusion, the prospect of society is reached based on a wide range of factors. And our current social value system, joint with education system, helps us to become well-rounded individuals who can promote society as a whole in a long run.

Children, defined as the seeds or seedlings for a blooming future, are fostered in various ways. How they are socialized, which is not the only determinant, determines the destiny of society to a certain extent. We have made great efforts to improve the education of children. However, there is no doubt that some problems still exist in the current education system that hinder the construction of a better society in the future.
Undeniable, in the diverse era, the socialization plays a significant role in children’s growth period. The interaction among peers and the observation of the outside world crucially help children to grow into amiable and socially useful adults. To illustrate, children can learn the spirit of teamwork and cooperation, which is vital in the current and future society, in short plays performed in kindergartens and football matches played in the elementary schools. But we should put our focus on not only the benefits but also the harms. The children are exposed in cheating, stealing and other anti-social behaviors when involved in socialization activities.
However, the socialization is only one facet in the kids’ development, which also includes the genetic variance, raw intelligence, parental influence, self conviction and other aspects. Consider some outstanding people who have contributed to a better society. Zhouzhou, a widely-known cantor in China, is mentally handicapped. He was merely involved in the socialization activities when he was a child because the kids nearby were not willing to play with an idiot in their eyes and he was not admitted to common schools. Fortunately for some though, his parents didn’t abandon him. They found that Zhouzhou enjoyed himself deeply when listening to operas and began to explore his talent in music. Eventually, his efforts and his parents’ patient guidance bring about his achievements. He became a cantor, conducting an orchestra and leading audience to enjoy the grace of music. Then, imagine such a family, where a kid’s parents are addicted to gambling, alcohol or drugs, or they frequently engage in quarrels or even family violence, no matter how conducive and tolerant the social environment the kid is in, the expectation for the kid to develop properly will be merely an illusion.
As to how to foster children, it occurs to me that there are some obstacles impeding the development of children in the current education system. Too much emphasis is put on the intellectual skills while emotional needs neglected. Admittedly, intellectual skills are of great importance when seeking a satisfying job in the competitive society. However, the kids need to learn how to respect others and how to monitor their own emotional world. The education should not be prejudiced. When told that knowledge is power, children also should be indoctrinated traditional values, nurtured moral uprightness, reinforced ethical principles, taught communication skills and fostered to be those who can properly conduct their own emotions. Therefore, I agree that we have not yet learned how to raise children who can bring about a better future.  
In conclusion, it is the complex interplay of many factors, combined with socialization, that make our children who they are and determine the destiny of the future society. Furthermore, we can do much more to foster children in better ways to bring about a better future.
