Ever since the first advertisement,slogans out of shops,showed up hundreds of years ago,advertising has become more and more flourished.Some people hold the opinion that advertisements notify us about new products ,whereas others view them detrimental objects to consumers,encouraging us to buy things we really do not need.In my point of view,the latter opinion is more reasonable.
In the first place ,exaggeration is one of the most important features of advertisements.The persuasive expressions are so convincing that custormers can scarcely resist the temptation to buy the product.But once it is used in daily life ,we can immediately figure out that it is not so magic and marvelous as what advertisements brag.For instance,young ladies always resort to certain kinds of shampoo to improve their hair quality,just as stars in advertisements,but turn out to be disappointed.
In the second place,discount in an advertisement is an aid to drive customers crazy and zealous at products.When walking in the downtown , we are attracted by advertisements about cutting price and rush to select cheap merchandises.Unfortunately,what we buy in these circumstances,to a large extent ,are either out-of-date or useless.Therefore they are  taken home and put deep in the cabinet.
In the third place,advertising makes use of celebrities to expand sales.Charming stars in an advertisement draw our attention tremendously ,so that the merchandises give us deep impression and we are liable to buy them,which are sometimes useless.
In conclusion,advertising persuades  people to buy what they do not really need through exaggeration,discount and celebrities.Only by keeping calm in front of various advertisements can we make sensible dicisions and get what is really valuable to us.

Advertisements are not a new-born thing. As early as Shang period in China, there are plenty of advertisements in the flourish market in the term of huckstering. And till today, more than 4000 companies were registered in the united state and even a larger number thought-out the world, which was reported in a magazine, named Adage. And there are plenty of controversies about the function of advertisement. Some assert that there are misleading while others a lot of information. In my opinion the later one is more reasonable while there are thimble disadvantages of the advertisement.

It is always saying that the advertisement is to some degree owing characters of misleading. Some default advertisement may encourage you to buy things we really do not need. But it is known to us all that, although there are some effect effuse by the misleading advertisements, the fundamental reason is the hesitating mind. One would not buy a rocket when he has an acrophobia, no matter how prefect the advertisements are. So we should not shift the duty to the misleading advertisement when we have got an unwanted thing.

And, on the other hand, the advertisement would improve our live a lot. Don’t you think the colorful advertisements make the highway not dull but more animate? I am living in middle size city 300 kilometers from Beijing, and I enjoy the colorful advertisements during the trip!

Additionally, we all know that the advertisements can bring us a lot of useful information. Nowadays, it is a period of booming product and increasing information. No one, even the most energetic people have the ability to know all the products. We even do not have the time to come across all the products to be chosen. It is no denying that the advisements saved us a lot of time!

What’s more, there is always something new or something valuable things could be learned in the advertisements. You must be familiar with the word “nothing is impossible”, which is theme of all the advertisements of Adidas. This word inspires me a lot when I was facing some difficulties and was frustrated. Most of us would have this kind of experience.

The distilments make our live not only more colorful but also more aspirants. And this function would not be replaced.

It is ture that advertisement play a vital role in directing and introducting us how to purchase and select commodities we need. Particularly, with the advent of information time and globalization, advertisement exert a sublt influence on improving our living quality and level. Nevertheless, while benefiting and boosting our qoutidian  life, it surly has myriad negative impacts and side-effect.

First,  under the directing of some advertisements, to some extent tell us valuable
Information about launching new products such as traits, new founctions.  As a result, by meas of this efficient channel make us more conveinent. Illustrating this point of view involve in an example: when we come to purchase a laptop, through the instruction of various advertisements we can pick out a suitful style for us, at the same vein,  people always tend to pursue faster caculating speed, and stronger the ability to deal with data. So advertisements introducting renovational technique to some degree meet our immdiate needs.

Second, appreciating advertisements, as a source of diversion, become a means that unload the “burdon” of our life. Today, people sustaining increasingly pressures from different facets, like our professors, parents, peers, it is indispensable that advertisements enrich our dry life. After coping with a great volum of troubling and onerous assignments over twelve hours, we can sit our sofa to watch some advertisment program in televesion, or go over relative magzines performed by sports stars, rock-roll singers, celeberities and so forth. To do this, it can emancipate our upset sense from monotous works.

Of  course, we can not deny the reality that some companies dirved by in the short term profits, they boast and even exorbitanly exaggerate their products by employing advertisements to stimulate us consurming. Therefore, we are usually bombarded with some unmeaningful and misleading advertisement. when it comes to some realms, for instance, not only od some tonics fail to meet qualities what companies promise, but also they disbenefit people’ health. If we need to purchase a product, we should identify the advertisement whether is real or not.

In a word, although advertisements embrace some flaws, they indeed inprove our dalily life. We would hard to imagine the world without ads.  Moreover governments and some relative organizations should be responsible for “pouring” ad industry, coupling with refusing some unvaluable and misleading ones, so that we can better be availble to them.
学到的知识永远不会背叛你

30分钟写成的,还是不错的呢 没有太大的纰漏。希望多积累句型、词汇等,在语言上下工夫。
另外结尾说到 Maybe it is not useful to you now, but I will use it in the future. 这个说的不是很好,也没有说的更清楚。如果说不清楚,最好就不要提了,特别是在结尾总结时。
总的来讲,语言比较一般,而且感觉很chinese。在这方面多下工夫吧

如果能在30分钟之内写出这样水平的作文,就是非常好的了!而且看了这么多作文,我终于看到了我等待已久的观点,广告的艺术性。的确很不错,不过考虑到你用时太长了,就不过多夸奖了 呵呵
提个小意见,你的反面的东西写的有点多。正面论述才两个方面,而反面的,虽然短小,却有三个方面,这是没必要的,特别是第三点。可以把反面的内容写的更轻描淡写,无足轻重些。

我布局还是有点问题,5段内容,我基本上都是考虑正面两个理由,然后通过反驳反面的理由来间接说明正面,请教一下版主怎么在5段里陈述3个理由然后还能反驳其对面意见,我安排不过来,本来开始打算将反驳反面的略写在第一段或最后一段,但是又怕主题不够突出,有点难为

我可不可以在反面段前加一句话,让这段反驳的话也变成理由呢?比如说
However, somebody argues that advertising intrinsically has some disadvantages.As a verb said,”Every coin has two sides.”,and nowhere is this more true than on the analysis of disadvantages of advertising. Firstly, some advertisements seems to deliberately exaggerate the quality of the goods.This may be prevented by legislation.Secondly, advertising is likely to be a waste of money.Yet consider the opportunity cost without it,make a trade-off curve,and then maybe we will reach a quite different conclusion.Thirdly,but not finally,some advertisements are coarsely-designed.I think it is designer’s fault,not advertisements’. So some criticisms of advertising just look unfair.
这样反驳是否也能成为理由呢?我也觉得两个太单薄了
要不然我就将反驳换成第三个理由
版主觉得怎么比较好呢

没有必要一定只放5段啊,3个正面段落,再加一个小的反面段落就可以了.

Recently, there is a heated dispute over whether the advertisement is good for our life, which has arose controversy among people of different background. Although the advertising involves lots of defects, in my view, it would be more inconvenient in our daily lives without the advertisement.

Admittedly, advertising do have some bad effect in our lives. For instance, we can see the advertisement everywhere such as the sides of the road, the walls, even in the programs we watched. A large amount of people are disgusted with watching advertisements during their favorite programs. In addition, some advertisement may mislead the consumers to buy something they really do not need. The reason why they bought was just attracted by the advertisement the company made which would give rise to some kind of waste. Furthermore, a large amount of people absorb the message of the advertisement and image into their minds subconsciously. Even thought they could figure out the propagandas were outright lean heavily on selling the goods, the consumers were seduced by the persuasive advertisement and bought lots of products the do not need.


Turning to the consumers’ angle, advertisements do introduce many new products that improve our living conditions, with providing the information about daily essentials, with offering the messages about the job searching, with supplying the news on the social activities and so on.  What is more, an advertisement in high quality is also a kind of art to some extent as well as some people prefer to enjoy a few advertising in the interim of the serious programs. On the other hand, the foible that the advertising brought can be prevented by the consumers themselves in the way of controlling their desires of shopping. In this means, the advertisement could just play a role as the supporter instead of the decision maker.

To sum up, we can not make the generalization hastily; admittedly, the advertisements do have some foibles to our daily lives, it absolutely brought us many benefits. In general, if we make good use of advertising, it would produce some advantages and improve our lives.

If I say that all of us live in the ocean of advertising, none will disagree with my viewpoint completely, because the fact just is that our living environment is full of a variety of advertisements, from clothing to foods, to daily items. Attitudes towards advertising are different, positive or negative. Some people blame advertisements for misleading customers to buy things that they do not need at all, while other people like me believe that advertisements are helpful in improving our lives.

In modern society where people rush about for their prosperous future with the annoyance of a tremendous amount of information, which is no matter desired or unexpected, advertising has already served as an indispensable source of information and a way to access products when people plan to buy things. Take the purchase of cars for example. There are so many manufacturers and cars of different performances, prices, colors and styles on sale in the market that it is a hard job to select suitable ones which will meet customers’ demands best. Under this circumstances, customers can first collect abundant information through advertising and then narrow down their targets that are relatively satisfactory and worth stopping by shops in person. Advertising simplifies the purchase process greatly.

Practically speaking, in spite of a means of marketing to propagate new products utilized by merchants, advertising also plays an active part to improve people’s living quality. New products are put in the markets mainly because they can satisfy people’s needs further by providing more comfortable experience or more advanced technologies. Customers receive this information conveyed through advertisements and update their aged items, with extra improved concept towards life.

Another point should be mentioned here is that advertising has developed a part of popular culture and a form of art. Modern advertisements are not merely words on the screen read by someone any longer, but multimedia combining with images, sounds and words. People can enjoy vivid pictures, humorous performance, euphonious music and philosophical words presented by excellent advertisements.

Based on above reasons, I believe that advertising, as an essential source of information, an effective method to improve people’s lives as well as a kind of entertainment, will play a more and more important role in our daily life.

很好啊 思路和结构都挺清晰简洁,语言也不错呢 如果不是你用时太长了,我肯定想给你打个高分数。希望你能在30分钟内写出这样的文章,那就可以高枕无忧了。下一个努力方向,时间。

Some assert that there are misleading while others a lot of information.这句话写的很不显眼也让人不明白。“while others a lot of information.”这个从句有谓语吗?所以看完了第二段我一头雾水,回来找了半天才发现这句话,明白了你的观点。
第一段的安排不正确。第一段应该是最重要的理由,可是你只是无力地反驳了一个说法,说,广告没错,可是它有什么好处?没说。如此无力的一段如果一定要用也要放到最后啊。
第三段可以重点写一下,可是你三句话就搞定了,可惜。
其实你的思路有新颖的地方,可是没有加以利用。你说到广告的colorful,可是只用了不到三行;你说到广告的创意,还举了很好的阿迪的例子,却放到最后一段去说。很可惜啊。
