Sumerize the points made in the lecture, explain how they cast doubt on the contents of reading.

According to the lecture, offering the policy of working a four-day week will not benefit company profits, the whole economic condition nor the individual life quality, which totally contradict what suggested in the reading.

To begin with, the speaker points out that hiring more employees will force the company to spend more and add additional cost, such as more costs on staff training,office places and computers. However, in the reading, the author claims that the company would increase the profit if there are some ones choose the four-day workweek policy. The lecture contradicts what the reading claims by providing evidences that adding new workers will not help to increase profits.

Moreover, according to the lecture, realizing hiring new workers would be costly, the company may not add more workers. Instead, the company will rsise the expectation on the  workers by have them to finish the same amount of work as normal work. As a result, workers who choose to work for four days a week will not feel easier. In this sense, the lecture disagrees with the opinion of the reading that this new policy can reduce the unemployment problems and can reduce the burden of the workers who adopt the new policy.

Lastly, the speaker argues that the life will not be better if the workers choose to work for four days a week. Workers will be at the risking of losing their jobs because having fewer days at work will reduce their work stability. What is more, the boss may prefer to promote those who work five days a week because they can keep a constant supervision on the work. Thus, who choose to work for four days a week will take the risk of reducing the chances for promoting. In this sense, the workers who choose the new policy will not improve their life quality as described in the reading

So, the contents in the reading passage are totally jeopardized by the speaker and the speaker has completely different ideas on the topic made in the reading.

1103一战作文只拿了18，而目标学校要求作文25，天煞的，严重影响申请。现在离二战只剩10天，决定每天大小作文各一篇。
