看来我还要继续灌下水积分才能够~~这次先把改好的给你贴在这里吧,对不住了
As(With) the rapid growth of world economy, along with the development of industrialization, the past decades have witnessed that social problems in the world never lessened during the prosperous(prosperity) of the material wealth: racial discrimination; problems of poverty and famine; inequality in different classes; clash between different ideologies, these problems can be found everywhere even in America. Some people consider one solution for these is education and there can be a global university to tackle the most persistent social problems, yet in my opinion, it is somewhat questionable.
Ignoring other factors, if a global university with completely fair existed, I do admit it can soften several social problems in some extent. Students from different nations with different cultures work and study together, which may be good for mutual understanding and trust. After they graduate form the school, their knowledge may be really helpful to their countries for in some countries advanced educational resources are rarely available. Though(Through) these activities, advanced technologies, policies and notions can be transmitted to the undeveloped regions and probably can relieve some social problems.
Regrettably, this kind of school is never able to work as its ideal state. In my opinion, having enough funds to maintain the university comes to be a big problem. Earning money from high tuition will certainly be denied for it will becomes(become) an upper or ruling class’s place, so the governments sponsor seems to be the only reliable choice, however, this choice can also draw(bring about) serious problems. Look at the shameful happenings in United Nations: American government was in arrests with the payment time to time, Japanese government insisted to have a higher political position because of a higher fee it paid. For the first happening, U.N. can lower its expenditures by decrease participations of global activities, but can a school lower its expenditures in this way? Definitely not, it will make a school losing(lose) talented teachers and badly influenced in the educational level. For the second, will it be reasonable that the university engage much more students from developed countries even though these country facing much less severe and complicate social problems than developing countries?
In another point of view, the effectiveness of the global university to tackle social problems is questionable. In most cases, social problems are caused by people from underclass, however, the elite class always received better education, thus select(the selection of) appropriate students seems to be a tough problem. Besides, different students from different countries always have different backgrounds, language, culture, and educational level; these make the teaching and communicating process greatly challenged. Moreover, the educated people may no longer wish to go back to their countries to contribute themselves. Take the Asian abroad students as an example, most outstanding ones stayed at foreign countries like Canada, Australia or USA and enjoy a better life there.
In conclusion, the development of a global university is just a beautiful dream and will never become reality in today’s situation unless people solved all the problems I mentioned above. To deal with the overwhelming social problems, in my opinion, people should rely more on mutual understanding and helping with each other.
1、 觉得观点很好,比较有说服力,文章层次也很清晰,恩~~
2、 有一些不该犯的语法小错误,建议写后自己可以多读读,另外句型可以多样一些
3、 还有第三段里面那个日本的例子不是很明白,是说higher political position because of a higher fee it paid是一个并不严重的问题吗? |
