Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: Students who can keep their own rooms organized are more likely to succeed. In recent years, there is a heated discussion about whether students who can keep their own rooms organized are more likely to succeed. Some agree with it, arguing that keeping their own room organized is a metaphor of good habit which leads to success. However, I oppose to it for students should put their energy and efforts on what they really should do. First of all, it is undeniable that the main responsibility of students is studying. As we all know, in modern society there are ever-roaring information and vocational skills. In order to excel in the fierce competition, students can do nothing but spare no effort on their courses and self-improvement. If a student care too much about the tidiness of room, we can imagine he or she should not be efficient on the academic courses and there is unavoidable they will fall behind due to endless care on every single thing. For example, the first chairman of Republic China Mao Zedong always had his room messed up when he was a teenager, but it was neither he was too lazy nor careless; it was because he always absorbed in books, and he often read several books at the same time. All his mind were focused on the fantastic content and all his time were devoted to learning, that is why his room was not organized but with books here and there. Therefore, I think students should care more about the work itself rather than waste time on cleaning up. Furthermore, achieving success is a long lasting process, which deserves efforts, preparation, and even luck. Thus, it is obviously that the statement seems ridiculous to link cleaning habits with success. According to the logic of the statement, the success possibility of a neat freak student overweigh a hard-working one. From the logical perspective, maintaining a student is more likely to succed than another one merely based on whether his or her room is organized is totally unsufficient. Nevertheless, it should be admitted doing clean up is a good habit, which providing students more healthy and comfortable environment. And it is better to encourage students build up sanictory haibits. But from my perspective, whether keep the room orgnized or not is just a matter of manner, which has no relationship with the chance of success. Success is the combination of ability and opportunities. In conclusion , I am not agree with the statement that students who keep their own room organized is more likely to succeed in the future. 喜欢七这个数字~ |
