分析性写作的的概况
分析性写作是2002年10月引进的GRE考试的一个新的部分， 它主要考察批判性思维和分析性写作的技能。它将评估你清楚地表达和支持复杂观点的能力，分析论据的能力和完成重点突出、思维连贯的讨论的能力。它并不考查特别的知识内容。
分析性写作包括两个独立时间的分析性写作任务：
l
任务一：展现你对某一问题的观点，45分钟；
l
任务二：分析论据，30分钟。
你将能够在两个话题中选择一个。每一话题都陈述了一个涉及广泛兴趣的话题，并且要求你从自己的观点出发讨论这一话题，只要你给提供相关的理由和例子来解释和支持你的观点。
对于论据分析这一任务，你没有选择。这一任务提出了另一种不同于话题任务的挑战：它要求你通过讨论一个给定的论据的推理是否恰当，来给出评论。你应该考虑该论据的逻辑是否严密，而不是赞成或反对它所提出的观点。
这两项任务互为补充，一个要求你通过提出观点、给出证据支持关于此话题的观点来构建自己的论证；另一个要求你通过评价断言和其证据来批评另一人的论证。

在每一个任务的最后留出几分钟时间检查明显的错误。虽然偶然的拼写和语法错误不会影响你的分数，严重和持续的错误将会降低整个文章的效力，继而降低你的分数。
分析性写作之后，你将有10分钟的休息时间。在两部分任务之间还有1分钟的休息。每一个规定的休息时间你都可以补充一些草稿纸。
分析性写作时如何评分的
每一个回答都根据官方公布的GRE分析性写作评分准则，整体的以6分制评分。整体评分意味着每一个回答都被作为一个整体来评判：评分者不会将回答分成各个组成部分并根据每一标准给出特定分数，例如观点、组织、句子结构或语言。相反，评分者是根据一个回应的整体质量来给出分数的，他们会整合考虑所有特征。例如，优秀的组织或糟糕的组织将会是评分者对于某一回应总体印象中的一部分并因此影响分数，但是组织作为一个明确的特征却没有一定的权重。
一般情况下，GRE评分者是大学的教师，他们所教授的课程都非常强调写作和批判性思维。所有的GRE评分者都经过了认真的培训，通过了严格的GRE资格考试，并且能够保证评分的准确性。
为了保证公平和评分的客观：
l
回答是随机分配给评分者的；
l
评分者不知道所有关于考生的身份信息；
l
每一个回答都由两个评分者打分；
l
评分者不知道关于同一回应的其他评分；
l
评分过程要求每一个回应从两个评分者处得到一致或相近的分数；任何分数的结合将由第三个GRE评分者宣布。
两项任务的得分平均后将得到最终的报告分数。分数段描述提供了怎样解释分析性写作总分的信息。在评分中最强调的是批判性思维和分析写作能力。
你的作文将会被ETS文章相似性检测软件和评分过程中有经验的评分者检查。由于美国大学研究生院对于独立思维的重视，ETS有权取消任何一个考生的成绩，当有足够的证据证明一篇作文包括以下问题，但不仅限于以下问题：
l
被发现有与其他GRE作文回应本质上相似的文本；
l
引用或转述发表或未发表资源的语言或观点，且没有解释来源；
l
不承认与他人共同合作的作品，且没有引证说明他人的贡献；
l
文章观点或语句抄袭他处或由他人代为准备；
当以上的一种或几种情况出现时，你的作文将会被ETS认为，不反应你的独立、分析、写作的能力，而这正是这一测验所要考查的。因此，ETS一定会因为无效而撤销你的分数并且不能报告GRE成绩，在GRE成绩中作文的得分是不可或缺的。
被取消成绩的考生将会被没收考试费并在随后再一次付费参加GRE整个考试。在向大学寄送的成绩单上不会出现取消的记录和取消的原因。

理解这一任务
