In the reading, the author holds that American wood companies may not take efforts to receive ecocertifucation for three reasons. However, the lecturer effectively challenges the opinion, demonstrating the opposite is true.right/ reasonable 要好一点不?因为我觉得passage 不是说假话的问题 是分析角度的问题

To begin with, the readingThe author believes that people in the United States do not care much about advertising, the ecocertification includedincluding the ecocertification, since they do not trust ads. Contrarilybrilliant to transition, the listening maintains that people do distinguish from advertisements for products and advertisements for consumer certification. Therefore, it is more likely for them to trust the ecocertification, which shares international fame of being trustworthy.

In addition, the passage resorts American wood companies not receiving ecocertification to consumers' concerns about prices more than other elements, which is opposite to the lecture.删掉这个吧 In the lecture, the speaker says that if the difference of prices between products is quite little, like five percent, then people are more incline to weigh other facts over prices.good sentence!natural In that case, a product with ecocertification will be more advantageous than others, demonstrating that  its company改成since its consumer do concern about preserving resources and protecting environments.

Finally, while the reading material suggests that American companies will be satisfied with catering to domestic demands without ecocertification, the speaker holds the different idea. If domesticate companies want to compete with foreign ones in American markets, they are also obliged to receive the ecocertification. Otherwise, foreign companies will fully occupy the market soon.

While the reading passage throws doubt on the accuracy of the memoir of the Chevalier de Seingalt, the lecture is, on the contrary, quite firm about the correctness of the memoir.

To begin with, the reading presents that the fact that the Chevalier was very rich goes against his loan from a Swiss merchant. However, the speaker maintains the Chevalier may borrow money for gambling and parties, and later cover the loan with his wealth. These two facts are actually not contradictory.第一段内容有待商榷。
( Q6 M  I( H& r
In addition, the phrases of the conversations with the reputed writer Voltaire recorded in the memoir is(is的主语是phrases么?是不是应该用are) questioned for their accuracy by the reading, but confirmed by the listening. The lecturer contends that the Chevalier remembered the conversations and kept them in record many years before the memoir. By consorting to his journals and diaries constantly, what the memoir writes is quite true.- s) V, {' Y/ t" H% z" o& m. \" A

Finally, the listening material also challenges the opinion held by the passage that the Chevalier's escape from prison is because of a bribe. The point from the reading can be easily weakened by the fact that many other prisoners in the same prison who have more powerful friends failed to escape.(failed to escape感觉指代不清,是其他犯人的朋友还是其他犯人?位置可以换以下,或者加个and they were) Additionally, according to an old government record, the prison repaired the ceiling after the Chevalier's escape. This lends more credence to the memoir's account that the Chevalier escaped by breaking the ceiling.

While the reading claims that there are two possible reasons for the decline of sea otters: pollution and predators, and the pollution is more likely to lead to this situation, the lecture goes totally against the latter conclusion.请问我这样的说法可以吗?

Initially, the lecture maintains that the pollution will not cause sea otters to death, because no single dead otter is found along the Alaskan coast. In addition, this phenomenon suggests that it is predators which eat otters and do not leave them on the beaches that are the main reasons for the death of otters. However, the reading suggests sea pollution like industrial chemical pollution, may indirectly contribute to otters' death.

Subsequently, human hunters are also the cause for the decline of otters, presented by the speaker. With human hunters hunting large sea mammals, there left no choice for the orca but to eat small mammals, sea otters and sea lions included. This point is opposite to the passage, which believes predators will hunt for large mammals, and pollutions will have such influence too.蓝字听了3遍,记了笔记,却忘了意思,前面两次都这样

Finally, because the great changes of otters' population in different environments, the lecture infers that the predators of otters are more responsible for the uneven pattern. Sea otters thrive in shallow rocky places, where their predators are not able to survive. On the other hand, otters elsewhere do not abundant due to various predators. Nevertheless, this cause is precluded by the reading.

题材比较擅长 所以比较好写? 挺顺的。。。
8.27 独立  University students should take part time jobs.
Taking a part time job provides university students more opportunities to get touch with society, and enhance their ability to live on their own. However, part-time work also can lead to the distraction from college study, if one does not arrange his/her time properly.

To begin with, college students who are involved with part-time jobs are more likely to have close access to society, learning to deal with people at work. Since students are entering society sooner or later, keeping contacts with society earlier will provide valuable experience to them. They can gain knowledge of how to deal with customers politely, how to propose properly to others and how to do an excellent job. And this will help them obtain advantages in future job seeking market.

Equally crucial is that young citizens enhance their ability to live independently by doing part-time jobs and earning some money. In this increasingly competitive world, it is never too early to learn to rely on one, because one will ultimately be independent in near future. My roommate, Lee, is a wonderful example for that. She once believed it is a long way to be independent. Therefore, she relied on her parents greatly, and did little to become self-reliant. One day, when her father's company broke down, she found herself nothing but useless for the situation.

However, spending too much time in part time jobs is also not advisable. Learning always comes first for students, and others may not be that critical. If one fails to see this order, no matter how much money she/he can get from part time jobs, one will be a loser as she/he does not succeed in university study. For instance, how could a freshman be defined as successful if he takes too many part time jobs to pass his examinations? In other word, only with enough time for study and proper energy for part time jobs can make one an independent student.

In conclusion, although regarding taking part time jobs too important will be unwise, properly arranged jobs will supply college student with access to society and the capability to be independent.

In the reading material, the author believes the decline of reading literature has a negative influence on the public, culture and the development of literature, whereas the lecture is totally against this opinion.

While the reading says people lose some benefits from literature by reading less of them, the lecturer maintains that these benefits may be obtained by reading other kinds of books. Books on history, science and politics can also be of high quality, well written and creative. They will serve the similar means as literature books do. Therefore, people still can enjoy those advantages by reading other books.

What's more, the speaker holds that less reading may not mean the lowered culture level, because other types of entertainment are also media of culture. For instance, a fantastic song or a wonderful movie expresses culture too. Additionally, they can convey the concerns of culture more directly. This point contradicts what is in the reading, which believes other kinds of entertainment are more trivial in cultural expression.

Finally, although the reading blames people who lack of interest in modern literature, the lecture emphasizes that the writers should take the responsibility. There is no denying that nowadays literature is difficult to understand. And that is the authors to blame for, because even readers from early times may find those novels incomprehensible.

Although the reading passage claims that the purchasing for fossils has a negative impact on the public and scientists, the lecture contends that the advantages of fossil purchasing overweigh the disadvantages greatly.

In the reading, there will be fewer opportunities for the public to be exposed to dinosaur fossils, resulting in less interest for people in fossils. However, the listening holds that it is more likely for people to observe fossils, because lower communities are able to purchase fossils and then to display them to the public. Consequently, this will lead to people's more interest to fossils.

Moreover, scientists will not lose access to valuable fossils because they are the first ones to judge fossils' values, which is against what the reading believes. It is common sense that scientists will run some tests to identify fossils' value before they are bought by others. Therefore, they will not possibly miss potentially crucial discoveries, which are mentioned in the reading.

Admittedly, commercial fossil collectors may destroy scientific evidence with the fossils which is of great value, as presented by the reading. However, more discovered fossils without precise data, locations and so forth are still better than less fossils discovered with complete evidence of their surroundings.
