Some people hold the opinion that young people could learn a lot of things from the old people, but there is nothing that they can teach the old. As far as I concerned, such point of views (view)  is very partial, and has neglected the unique qualities of the young people. In my opinion, young people could teach the elder people (可以适当的去掉几个PEOPLE吧,感觉这里好多). The reasons to support my argument go as follows:

First of all, young people could adopt new things more quickly than the elder one (ones). Young people are always eager for a life full of changes and challenges, so they could accept the(去掉) new things faster. Different from the young, the elder people prefer a life with a peaceful and calm atmosphere. And they often hold a critical attitude toward the new things that have never existed before, even if such things symbolize the development and could make their lives more convenient. My friend, a teller in a bank, once told me that many old people line(lined) there for a long time just waiting for doing such simple businesses as drawing or depositing money in their accounts. However, they could finish these businesses easily in the 24 hour self-service banking within several minutes. She said that most of the old people do not know how to use the modern machine like ATM, and some of they(them) also refuse to learn how to do so.

Secondly, young people always have more intensive desire for the air of freedom, which make them break out the bound of social convention. Old people like the traditional life style that handed down from their elder generation. Complying with the traditional way might make life easy, but sometimes it is the tradition that prevents our society from developing. However, older people do not want, sometimes may not dare to, break out the conventionality, for most of them lack the quality of originality always bared by young people. In the recent history of China, many social movements were launched by the(去掉) students and young people, and most of those led to the innovations of the country.

In addition, young people always have more passions(passion是不可数的吧?) and energy than the elder people. The old people had the same passions and energy when they were young, however with the increasing of the age, their energy declined and some ambitions and passions disappeared. Although we cannot require an old man as vigorous as a young one, the old people could still learn from the young people and keep the energetic condition in their spirit.

All in all, young people may be not as experienced as the old people in some aspects, but there are still lots of things that worth the old people learn from.

Upon this point, some people think that a person should never make important decisions alone. However, I disagree with this statement .As I think, though a man should always refer to many other source of information as well as get advice and suggestions from other people before making his decisions, he should finally decide by himself.

On one hand, it is necessary to consult other people and get their advice and suggestions before making a decision. As we all know, one can neither live all kinds of lives nor experience all kinds of things. Thus when facing problems we are unfamiliar with, consulting others that have that kind of experience may be instructive to our decision-making. Furthermore, as an old saying says “Standers-by is more clear about the situation than those involved in it.”, other people may see our problems in a more objective angle, thus their advice will enable us a comprehensive understanding of the situation we face, which is bound to help us make sound decisions. Moreover, even others are not more familiar with the problem than we are, they can also offer us some information relevant to our problems that we may not know before, which is also helpful for our decision-making.

On the other hand, a man should eventually make the decisions himself. As the problems are relevant to your own life, no one else understands what you really want more clearly than yourself. Also, as those important decisions may greatly affect your whole life, no one else but yourself can be responsible for the results, either good or not. Thus it is impractical to depend on others on deciding your own matters.

Therefore, in short, I think a man should finally make those important decisions by himself , though he should always refer to other people’s experience, advice and suggestions.

Studying habits, which is a hot topic in the campus life, may be categorized into two different kinds: one is studying alone and the other is studying with a group of students. Both the two kinds have their own advantages and disadvantages. According to my personality and fondness, I would choose to study with a group of students rather then study alone.

As is known to us students, study method, which is credited as a key to the house of learning, plays an important part in the learning process. Studying with a group of students is a way to achieve the right study method. During the time of studying with a group of students, you can learn the merits of others, and that will help you make up your shortcomings. I have a friend John, who used to get very low score in math. But after a semester, he made a great progress in math and got a high score in the final exam. I asked him how to make such a big progress. He said he joined an interest group in math and learnt the right way to study in math from others. So, we can see it is the group study that helped him conquer the learning problems in math, which used to be a high mountain in front of him.

In addition to obtaining the right method of study, better understanding will also be achieved when studying with others. For instance, you and your classmates in the study group may have different ideas on an issue. Subsequently, it will usually give a rise to a hot discussion, even a fierce debate. I fundamentally disagree with the statement that universities should give the same amount
of money to their students' sports activities as they give to their libraries. As far as I am concerned, libraries are more important than sports activities for students in universities, so it is necessary to give more money to the libraries.

In the first place, the main purpose of the universities is to give the students a good education for their future lives. It is obvious that the students in universities learn useful knowledge mainly from books and articles, so in order to help the students learn the knowledge more effectively and rapidly, the university libraries should provide recent as well as enough books and articles for the students. It will cost a lot of money apparently.

In addition, a modern university library must have not only books and articles but also have
some advanced facilities. For example, a library should have enough computers which connect to the internet for the students to get information from the internet. And a library with  capacious reading rooms for more students will be better. So if universities want to have  modern libraries, such things should be done well, and it will need a budget.

Admittedly, sports activities also play an important role in the education. The students need to take some exercises for their health and fun, and sports activities can help to cultivate the students' persistent and firm characters.

In conclusion, universities should try their best to provide a good enough educational environment for their students. Libraries are the crucial part of the environment, and sports activities are just the supplemental part, so it is necessary and reasonable to give more money to the libraries.

should childdren learn a foreign language as soon as they start school. In my opinion, it is undoubtedly necessary.

Early learning of a foreign language is much helpful to form a good foundation of speaking, reading and writing. An adult may benefit a lot from his or her childrenhood's access to a foreign language. Obeviously, campared with a Chineses beginning to learning English in his or her twenties, another Chinese who started his or her English study when seven years old can speak much more accuratly and fluiently, partly because his or her accent is not so much influenced by the native language as the previous person. Hence, accepting  foreign language education from young is of great importance for the future generation.

Additionally, just as the saying goes,"interest is the best teacher," I believe, it is crucial to cultivate one's interest of learning a foreign language as young as possible. As for me, whenever I take a walk in a junior school near my home, the most impressive picture leaving in my brain is the laughing faces of the children when they speak a foreign language following their teachers. Not from my own experience but from researches of investigators, the interest of learning a foreign language best be cultivated from the beginning of attendance to school.

Different people with different experience may have dissimilar attitude, as far as I am considered, the two events both play an important role in enriching students’ study and spare life. Thus, we should devote the same resource, such as the money to develop those programs.

On one hand, the most significant advantage of supporting students’ sport activities is that it can improve our students’ body condition both in physical and mental aspects. After all, as the saying goes: the body is the basis of doing everything. Under the huge press of universities study task, I cannot image how a student in a weak healthy condition can get significant achievement,

On the other hand, the library also do plenty of benefit to students, it not only provides an opportunity to students to expand their acknowledge scope but also can be used as an entertainment. How wonderful is that reading an interesting book with a cup of coffee under the sunshine? An addition profit of the library is that it can give students an academic atmosphere that can protect students from the bad impact from the outside.

A common question everyone may face when gets paid is how to deal with the money. Upon this question, different people hold different opinions. Some of them insist enjoying the money soon, while others advise to put it away for future use. In my opinion, both of these views are reasonable in some aspects while reasonless in other aspects, thus taking either side seems somewhat absolute. Actually , I think it is a better way to combine the two kinds of opinion.

On one hand, part of the money we earn should be spent to meet our life needs as well as to bring us happiness. First, many necessities that ensure our normal life should be bought, which will surely cost some of the money. Second, it is a popular belief now that the most important aspect of one’s life is happiness. We work, we earn money are all for living a better and happier life. Thus we should spend some of the money we earn to achieve these goals, perhaps by buying a new beautiful dress you are longing for, or decorating your house, which will all improve our life as well as our spirit.

While some of the money should be spent soon, on the other hand, a quantity of what you earn should always be put aside for some time in the future. First, as an old saying says ‘Make umbrella before rain”, you should always plan for your future. No one can accurately predict what will happen tomorrow, nor can you. So saving some money is necessary ,in case you are laid off, affected by a serious disease, etc. Second, some of your goals of life may need too much money for you to achieve it at one time, which calls for your saving of money. For example, if you want to buy a car, which generally will cost more money than you can earn at one time, perhaps one month, then you surely have to save a quantity of money every month to eventually be able to buy it.

Therefore, according to the reasons listed above, I strongly hold the opinion that enjoying some money as well as saving some is a better way to deal with the money you earn.
