Society does not place enough emphasis on the intellect—that is, on reasoning and other cognitive skills.
argument47
Scientists studying historical weather patterns have discovered that in the mid-sixth century, Earth suddenly became significantly cooler. Although few historical records survive from that time, some accounts found both in Asia and Europe mention a dimming of the sun and extremely cold temperatures. Either a huge volcanic eruption or a large meteorite colliding with Earth could have created a large dust cloud throughout Earth's atmosphere that would have been capable of blocking enough sunlight to lower global temperatures significantly. A large meteorite collision, however, would probably create a sudden bright flash of light, and no extant historical records of the time mention such a flash. Some surviving Asian historical records of the time, however, mention a loud boom that would be consistent with a volcanic eruption. Therefore, the cooling was probably caused by a volcanic eruption.

solving the immediate problems of today has something with the development and stability of nowadays.
Ex building a skyscraper
2         忽略未来重视现在的效益可能带来很严重的后果
a currant problem that we have to face is that the fact that we neglect the effect in the future while persue changing the financial situation of today makes numorous results, even disaster.
Ex environmental problem
2.       越对未来计划的仔细越有可能陷入理想化
the more detailed we plan for future, the more probability we trap in the idealism


issue 59  比较论证
1.       模仿就是学习的第一步，在为独立思考做准备。
Copying others sometimes is the first step to learn independently.
   Ex. Baby start to learn to make a voice or many other further action by imitating what they see or hear by the light of nature.
2.       太多的模仿禁锢思想，世界失去色彩
If we play too much emphasis on the role model, the color of the world must fade because of the block of individual development.
   Ex. There are not the same two leaves in the world.
3．独立思考会发现更多未知的东西。
People think and act independently may find out something new in the unknown area.
Ex. Newton set up his own science system after conclusion from forerunner’s principle  


Issue 70  因果论证 更新领导是好方式   退位
1.       随着社会的进步，知识意识都在不断更新，更新领导有利于企业的发展
With the progress in the society, the knowledge and conception is renovating every moment, so seeking new leader who is better at absorbing novelty than the older is a surest way to success.
Ex. In many profession, the age of the leader is declining, many of them is not scared to try fresh things in the society,
2.       虽然退位必要的但是并不意味着他们就会退位，他们仍然可以依靠丰富的经验在领域中起到作用
Though regenerating the existing leadership is necessary, but it does not mean that the older should step down after five years. On the other hand, they still can take a important role in the procession with their abundant experience.
3         更新领导并不一定是取得成功的最好方式（他因法）
For any enterprise, the path to success is revitalization through new leadership sometimes, however, many other ways is more suitable than changing the leader.
Ex. Change the running policy  

Issue 74   比较论证  图像 语言
1.       图像作为信息的传媒已经在传播思想方面起到很大作用
With the progress in medium, the images as a kind of information take a important role in the communication.
EX. More and more book is sold out with DVDs, whose images are used to help share the author’s idea with readers effectively.
2.       由于文化差异，语言可能在表达过程中造成不必要的误会
Considering the difference in the culture, the use of language may make some mistakes and obstacle, which is suppose to be avoided through the images
3.       语言虽然没有图像直观，但是可以给接受者更加广阔的想象空间
Though the language is less effect than the images, from of old, the conclusion that the receiver can image freely by the use of language not images is reasonable.

Issue 31  44  可以共用一个提纲：
Money spent on research, even when the results are controversial.
1.       观点：应该投入科研，但是不能过分投入以及投入那些很荒谬的领域。

We should spend the money on the research, for that will lead us to the more scientific and more modernized   world, however, in terms of those researches whose results will have no value or whose direction of research is totally wrong, we should carefully invest.

2.       分类，正负两个方面
3.       +方面（2段）：应该投入:
The research is necessary and should be focused and invested.
It will bring us tremendous value.
例子：医学领域：研究艾滋病。 社会学领域：研究犯罪。

4.       -方面（1段）：不能过分投入：不该投入那些没有意义的，而且要考虑到社会更需要投入的方面。
Should not spend the money on those invaluable areas.
例子：拯救人类计划。 相反，应该关注 社会上的亟待解决的问题，例子如：失业，失学儿童，妇女等等。

5. 总结：应该投入科研，但是不能过分投入以及投入那些很荒谬的领域。（换一种方式叙述出来）

TOPIC: ISSUE74 - "The most effective way to communicate an idea or value to large groups of people is through the use of images, not language."
提纲：
1 图像有其优势，如生动，直观，能给人留下深刻印象。如小学的看图识字和现在广泛使用的ppt,广告。
2图像有劣势，如不能准确清晰的描述问题，如人的思维，会议通知等；显然在这些方面是语言直接准确。
3 综合二者优势。
-Admittedly, it is effective to communicate with large groups of people by using images for its vivid picture would make a impression to people. ..concerning the education to little child，..And the advertisement which could be seen at every corner of place…
-However, the disadvantages of image are equally, if not more, apparent. It is hardly to depict the process of mind when one is considering a mathematic problem or think a idea…Furthermore, it is convenient when someone inform a notice in language rather than image.
-It is wise to integrate both advantages of image and language.  


TOPIC: ISSUE88 - "Technologies not only influence but actually determine social customs and ethics."
提纲：
1 技术的发展变化的确给社会带来了很大的影响，如传统观点的改变（男子是家庭支柱等）
2然而，并没有决定社会的风俗和道德。人民们对责任的认识，对工作的忠诚等观点并不会随着技术的发展而发生根本性的变化，有些情况是得到了加强。如家庭责任感。
3 技术是人类进步的产物，某种程度上是产物，而非控制人，改变人类行为的主导因素。
-Following the development of science and technology, the living circumstance of populace has been changed by using various new inventions and devices. …people have been emancipated from arduous work so that more and more jobs which need sufficient strength could be done by women.
-However, at the same time, the fundamental opinion and moral sense of a society could not be fell down though the rapid developed technologies.
-It is well known that the technologies are the achievements of people’s progress, rather than the domination power which control the behavior of people.
