审查制度很少被证明是正当的。

提纲：审查制度的公正与否因各具体方面而异，而且明确代价与成效。

1.政治方面，大多时候会不公正，且多为政治利益而为；

2.科学方面，参半，多于信仰联系，亦会出于安全目的；

3.大众传媒，极其复杂，难一言以蔽之，为各种利益服务，也有许多是善
意为民。

Is censorship rarely justified? In my opinion, the speaker unfairly generalizes. In some areas, especially politics, censorship is indeed not justified. However, in other areas, particularly the mass media, censorship can be somehow of justice. In still other areas, such as science, whether justified varies from case to case. And in the mean time, one should keep aware both the cost of justice and the effect censorship brings.

Censorship seldom shows justice during the long history of politics, and it always works for the political interest. It is obvious that something done for the rulers will be harmful for the rest of the people in most cases, so the censorship served for the political interest is often considered unjustified by the people who finally define justice. Take old china as a example. After the first emperor of Qin dynasty unified the six separate countries, the people still did not obey him in the deep heart, so there were lots of other politicians against the king, The logic they based on are the views of the old politicians written in the books. Soon the angry emperor forced the people to hand up certain books and burned them. This was not justified and even crude no matter by the view of the people at that time or of us, and bring the short live of the Qin dynasty. However, we cannot deny the positive effect the series movement like killing scholars, ruling the measurement and currency, including burning books for a united China.

By contrast, in the area mass media, censorship appears as justice and even necessary. Mass media is made by individuals, delivered to individuals and digested by individuals. This causes the source of the media more complex and varied, and force the government to make sure it would be less harmful to most of people. So even if censorship for mass media can be sort of unjustified, though for the most case is not, it is necessary. For instance, video games censor is only to classify the content of the games, bleep censor is to cover the dirty words on media, and the internet censor is to get rid of the unsuitable pictures, words, videos and so on. These measurements are really good and necessary for the children and adolescences.

In the realm of science, the situation gets more complex. There are cases that most unjustified happened in the history due to censorship in science, which Bruno and some other justified scientists were killed by Vatican because their science view was against the Vatican religion. Cases that provided the censor is justified also existed that banish for the process of nuclear bomb making to be press to publish by many countries.

In sum, the speaker overlooks many cases that censorship shows justice and necessity. Nevertheless, the lack of justice of censorship cannot be denied.
