Will education be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each other? In response to this question, we must analyze the issue intensively and methodically. Admittedly, education should meet the individual needs and fit for different character. However, I basically disapprove that education focus too much on interests of each other resulting from that this can lead to the ineffective learning proceed and insufficiency of establishment of their value.


First and foremost, it cannot be denied that designing courses and instruct system to meet students’ needs has a lot of advantages. Because the interest is the motive for learning knowledge. For interested on species
formation process, Darwin went on a journey to discover the truth of evolution; For interested in flying, the Wright Brothers manufactured the flight; Also for falling in love with the art, Van Gogh finished so many wonderful paintings. All these prove that only have a big love for a job or career can people achieve success.

However, in spite of the merits of the author’s claim, I disagree with the opinion that instruction specifically goes for the goal to meet individual needs considering the factors below.

Firstly, the young have not shape up their wholesome characters and minds, which need teachers to guide them in a right way. To give an example, many kids hate to learn the major courses like mathematics, chemistry or literature, however, these classes help a lot to build up the thinking method and effect children’s development of intelligence. What’s more, not only the courses they must learn, but the values establishment of their own rely on education of school. For instance, let’s consider a person gets a clever mind when his moral value and feeling about society are incorrect or distorted, isn’t he dangerous for whole society? So, education system must build up a value system for students to prevent them growing up with incomplete characters.

Secondly, education is not only for individual, but preparing talented people for the constructing the society and country. Our country has the thirst for intelligence of variety of fields. To satisfy this need, schools and colleges have a responsibility to well-instruct and push the students doing well in different major. Like some hard works, such as building the highway or study some plants in wild places. Maybe few people want to do these jobs, but still the colleges should be in favor of these fields.


Last but not least, and perhaps most significantly, the speaker does not take into account the fact that the truth of education, and it is essential and wise for instructors to realize their duty to lead a guidance for children to design their future. When some students feel confused, teachers give them better choices.

Analyzing the reasons above, I admit that it is vital and important that education should meet the interests and needs of each other.
Nevertheless, we need to seek a balance and take a general consideration about learning for interests and study with the duties for our society

Is the true success can only measured in relation to the goals one sets for oneself instead of the society’s external rewards, as this statement proposes? In response to this question, we must analyze the issue intensively and methodically. Admittedly, the goals one sets for oneself is the foundation of the success.However, I basically disapprove that the only true measurement of real success is that because people’s success must meet the needs of society, and the success should be valuable not only for oneself but for the world.

First and foremost, it cannot be denied that the personal goals lead the guidance of success. From the history, we learned that before you achieve success you must set an object and make up a whole plan. The Wright Brothers gained the success of making the first flight through making them a dream to fly in one day. Without a clear goal, people don’t know where their lives are going. So, only reaching your own dream can touch the success.

However, in spite of the merits of the author’s claim, I disagree with the opinion that the goals one sets for oneself is the only and best way to measure success , considering the factors below.

Firstly, success must meet the needs of society. Individual’s success can be varied, from getting a high grade to entering the dream college. But if you admit the success is only you dream about, it is likely that you have a limit eye on the future. Individual is part of the society, everyone’s own success help constructing our society. Bill Gates was interested in computer and Internet, so he endeavored to reach his dream. But at the same time, there was a responsibility for him to help others in his mind. Now we admire him not because he is the CEO of Microsoft company, but he donated so much money to people who need help. That’s his real success, when reaching his goal he used to set, he contributed to society, which made a true success.

Secondly, the success should be valuable not only for oneself but for the world. For the reason that different people who are raised in different surroundings, they establish their own value systems, which means the value determine the goals of their lives. Some people value the wrong and horrible dream as their goal. Hitler, we all know this name , who gave us too much disasters that even worse than the nature gave. He killed billions of people only to reach the goal worthy for him, while as we see now, is totally unbelievable. Can we evaluate the success or failure on his own goal? No one dares to agree with that.

Last but not least, and perhaps the most significantly, the speaker does not take into account the fact that true success means what you contribute to the society , and it is essential and wise that everyone has the responsibility to realize this question.
